SQ Update

Today wokeup at 6am, get everything ready and nurse SQ b4 6.30am. Coz today have an appointment for SQ's MCU & Ultrasound at Assunta. We been informed tat SQ must feed b4 6.30am, 2 hours b4 the test..

8.20am, Arrived Assunta and after paid RM200 for these 2 test. Me, Fatty & SQ wait for doctor to came in for the X-ray..(What kind of doctor is tat? Already made appointment oso late!) Almost 8.50am only saw doctor come in slowly...huh!

I asked nurse tat MCU test will make SQ pain or not and is there any sedation will be given..Nurse told me tat they not encourage to give sedation wor..She explained to us without sedation everything will done very fast if the baby not resist strongly. And with sedation given might take some time, coz need to wait BB sleep and after the test can't feed BB within 2- 3 hours time... aiyoo..difficult to make decision ler....I hope to reduce unpleasure of SQ in the process but worry if sedation given SQ won't sleep quickly then SQ gotta escape her feed for at least 6 hours liao...how can She stand for tat??....haii...Finally we let SQ do the test without sedation, pray for her complete it as soon as possible.. And the nurse told us, we can't accompany SQ in the X-ray room. SQ gotta face this test alone..When I took off her cloth, she seem like knew something happen liao..kept cry & scream loud..

9am nurse carried SQ into X-ray room, 2 of us can't stand or sit well at the waiting room..10mins for us seem like 1 hour liao...I hold Fatty's hand very tighted & sat dully when I heard SQ cry loud from the X-ray room, I scare my tear drop when I move...hmmm...Not so seriously laa..but quite heartache lor...eventho all r under our expectation liao...

9.15am, nurse brought SQ out & She still crying loud almost lose her voice liao, quicky hug my poor SQ & sayang, then she only stop crying....

9.17am, gotta go for ultrasound liao...this time I'm with her....I think she really scared liao..Started scream & cry b4 I place her on the bed....I just stand beside and scream to doctor: "Quickly! Quickly! Dr, scan her faster laa..why u so slow wan....??"..Of course screamed in my heart only laa........

9.30am, all test done...I quickly nursed SQ at the waiting room to comfort her and wait for the report too...SQ really tired liao...Straightly fall a sleep after few suckle...

9.45am, got the report! And we hurrying back to paed Clinic for the explaination.

10.10am, arrived paed clinic & told by doctor SQ got Urinary Tract Infections. Luckily it is minor reflux on her left bladder only , and both kidneys are in good condition. I'm not much worry about this actually coz doctor said it can potentially resolve by itself. But must feed SQ preventive antibiotics everyday lor...Coz worry tat she will get infection again & having high fever on & off...Too much of infection will damage the kidneys wor...

Haii...now just the beginning ler....Have to back to clinic every 2 months for urine test, maybe 1/2 or 1 year later have to do the MCU & ultrasound again..And start from tomorrow SQ has to live with antibiotics for 1 year liao...
