Vacation Club Membership
Have u joint any vacation club membership?
I often received call for the interview of this kind of stuff, they normally started the conversation with Q like r u marry ahh..and they have selected u as their free voucher winner..and request for an interview laa..B’coz of my aunty personality..I been to those interview twice liao…hehe…3 days 2 night (sometimes 2 days 1 night) free hotel voucher wor…Ah Soh sure ran for it laaa…hahaa..
After tat 2 cheated (by me) for fatty, he refused to attend those interview liao…hehe…so no more free stay liao…Actually its damn bored on the interview laa…spent about 2 hours to listen to their plan..But fortunately they still given out the free voucher eventho u r rejected to be their membership..Just need extra time to wait for the voucher lor..at this waiting period, they will ask a senior come to hardsell their plan..if u reject again..then another manager come over liao…by then u can get more discount and longer installment ..Reject again ahh..another senior manager come to sell liao…After ran for a big circle only can get ur free voucher..hehee..see laa..this kind of games, only Ah Soh like me can tahan…:P..and hor I’m the type of very stubborn Ah Soh..I don wan to buy wan..I just wan free voucher, so no matter how & wat they promote..I oso won’t joint wan…very de thick face ler…
But recently I interested in it liao wor..hehee…maybe is b’coz of SQ lor..I wish to bring her to everywhere wor..wish to have as many family trip as i could...Normally the rental for hotel will be the biggest expenses for us lor..coz I like to go with my parent, sis, nephew, my uncle’s family..Every trip at least 3 – 4 car wan…like tat only syiok maaa..So far we brought SQ to Cameran Highland, Genting Highland, Lumut & Pangkor liao…And still many local trip to go ler..
My boss introduced me the Berjaya Vacation Club Membership, I think its quite ok guaaa…Coz it have many home resort, which much more easy to book and is absolutely free wan..unlike others membership..most of them r exchange resort..gotta pay extra money for rental & sometimes hard to book oso…
The final consideration for me sure is the money laaa…now very expensive ler…Previously u can get a deluxe package for RM10k with few years installment..Now, I heard tat is about RM20 – RM30k ler…waaa..same like buy a kancil or kelisa liao…haii…how how? Let me think think 1st…

My dad bought also bought the Berjaya Vacation Club membership (BVC), that was back a few years ago :)
We think it is worth it for we've been able to save a lot during our anual family trip. so far we've been in our 3rd year of paying the installment already.
if i remember correctly, there are 2 types of plan; one is a one room apartment and the 2nd is a 2 room apartment plan :)
we're entitled to 7 days (if i remember correctly) of stay in any Berjaya hotels in Malaysia (or oversea; without having to pay them a single cent and got complimentary breakfasts/lunch/dinner; somemore got discount for food items) OR by paying for a little ammount for affiliated Hotel.
but the MOST important thing is you have to book VERY early in order to get those Berjaya Hotels or u'll end up in affiliated hotels (and having to pay more).
i went to Langkawi for the 1st year of subscription to the plan with my family. We stayed at Burau Bay, Berjaya Langkawi Beach and Spa resort. We stayed in a chalet in the mountains.
Guests are not allowed to drive to their chalet, instead they park their car at the parking lot and got this little vehicles to send us to our chalets.
They have their own private Beach there, extremely beautiful :)
But it's a bit of a distance (about 30 mins) from the Jetty. I Love it there.
2nd year we went to Berjaya Times Square. That time we were on a shopping craze.
The 2 room apartment they gave us was extremely beautiful. the scenery overlooking a swimming pool down there and also the shopping complexes.
The bathroom is very big...u'll like it *grins*
3rd year (end of last year) we went to BUKIT TINGGI, Pahang.

End of this year, we haven't decided where to go yet *grins*
if u're not interested in visiting local places, there are also hotels in places like China, Bali, Phuket, London and so on :)
if u're not interested in BVC, Genting Resort is also offering a plan. u could try asking them out by visiting their office.
-this one if u listen u'll get Voucher to stay at Awana Golf and Country resorts OR Outdoor themepark OR indoor themepark AND genting world card.
but for the moment, the genting plan is associated with their hotels in Genting, not as wide as Berjaya's one.
I heard that the BVC Membership plan worth a lot right now-value is increasing, cause a few days ago, someone actually called up my dad's fren (who's also a member) to BUY the whole plan from him by an extra of 8%.
-he didn't sell.
-i'm not sure how true is increase of the value though :) afterall my dad only has to pay in accordance to the contract signed when he bought it 3 years ago.

i got this type of phone call so many time liao but all i rejected cause scare will ask you buy this buy that lar so better dun go.
you want go holiday better go lor cause when the time you got second baby then you will be lazy to go liao.I got 3 lagi susah, somemore my maid gone home liao lagi susah :( cant go far far place liao.
err... this is not 'Putt' u cold water, just that i m not so intersted in these program. i think nowadays can get very good hotel rates through internet la.
so if u ask me 1 short pay out ao much... 30k ya!?!?!? heart pain la!

coz some of my frens who brought those program end up going no where and give me good offer :p giving me FREE or 70% discount! haha.

I donch like buying membership either.. for like loc kee said.. now hotel cheap cheap..lah.. and no need die die must go every year.. if you donch have memebership.. :) You never know .. what happen for the year ma.. but if you got membership.. die die must go.. sometimes conflict lor.. ;)
But of course the ultimate decision is yours .. so whatever you decide .. you happy ok lor.. ;)
hahaa...sound like not recommanded for this membership wor..Actually I'm trying to ask my sis share with me..But i think cannot be laa..coz she very stingy wan..haha..nobody share with me then kinda expensive for me oledi...
RM30k for 33 years of stay. u only have to pay for around 8 years.
after jia jian chen chu + - x / you're still paying cheaper.
but this is still sales tactics.

unless it's those stupid companies that offer vouchers like Maya or whatever ya.
if u dun plan to go for vacation this year, you can bring forward the days one.
if this year tak cukup, also can pinjam from next year.
If u plan to make money, you can rent your hotel rooms to friends/relatives.
when SQ mei-mei big already you can give her the plan (by that time she won't need to pay already and get to enjoy her holidays)

actually the membership intake has ended.
that's why so many people buying. my dad says they offer 60% higher than the original price.
anyhow :) hope little SQ will enjoy her future vacations :)
