Chinese Wedding Dinner Set Meal
Chinese people say this year not a good year for marry wor..But ler..I oledi got 3 'red bomb' liao...Wallet dry liao...
2 on the last week..aiyoo...oledi very sien with those food liao lah..coz those set meal ahh...almost the same wan..sharkfin soup, steam fish, salad/Butter prawn, Lo Han Veg, fried rice & etc...
Actually I took wedding dinner as a gathering..meet some old friends & schoolmates .. after I got married, really seldom gather liao lah...So I don't mind the dinner actually start at 9pm instead of 7pm printed on invitation card..sambil wait sambil chitchat lor....
The only thing I dislike in the wedding dinner was those karaoke lah..aiyoo..volumn too high liao...I must shout to chat with friends sit at the same table...and hor..some of the song ahh..seem very funny wan..hehe..I think the song title not suitable for wedding lor...like 'fen fei yin' (fly apart swallow), 'san nian' (3 year - a song about a person wait for lover many 3 years oso kenot meet)....
Since i so free at the dinner, I specially snap some photo for MrsT lah...I think MrsT should be long time no see this food liao ler..hehe...

DH and I also dislike the dinner set meal. We particularly dislike 2 things: suckling pig and the 'loh hon zai' (vegetables). Why?
The sauce of the 'loh hon zai' is so 'standard', and it is the thick sauce, that we hate - we find it geli, and it is very salty too.
As for the suckling pig, well, ever since I have a son, I have banned this dish - just feel pittiful to it.

Hi long time no see leh, i busy until half die recently.
Ai.....since got bb liao, seldom have chance to attend dinner, no place to feed bb leh, feed in public scared will make those auntie uncle eyes drop out........

I also scare to wedding dinner eat this type of food ler. Very sienz and all the same, sometime every month also got this type of dinner ler.
Actually all the set meal are the same wat. Anyway, nowadays, if the wedding dinner is held in a hotel, i dont think there will be a karaoke session...so can have more peace :).
1+2mom, wahh..every month oso have 1..very pokkai lor... 1 attend spend for at least RM100-RM150 ler..(husband&wife is tat price wat lor)..
emotionalistic, yeap..wedding dinner in hotel don have karaoke..tat is good..but ler..they got 5 star peace but no star for food ler...
I prefer restaurant lor..more tasty food ohh..
