Which Company Logo?

Should we doing some market research before decide which company logo we want to chance? We received few logo that provided by the logo designer. My boss are very satisfied in two of the logo, and felt hard to select only one. All of the staff have vote in one of the logo, unexpected the result are 50% vs 50% ..Haha...Thing getting hard to design now.
