Upgraded Computer Memory

We just get our office computer memory upgraded, we have added another 1 GB IBM memory RAM. Now I have to test run and I hope that everything will work great with the upgraded. The price of upgraded not costly actually. 1 GB Memory RAM cost us below $100.00 included installation fees. I am thinking of upgrading my personal laptop too. I wonder how much different of the cost for laptop memory ram? I need to make a call to the computer shop and ask for the price. I hope they will give me a discount since my company just done the upgraded from them too. :p
