Learn To Survey Hosting Company

This is my first blog when I found out about blogging a few years ago. After a few years down the road, a friend advised me to get my own domain. I have 2 blogs at my own domain now. Both hosted by different hosting company. The hosting company that I subscribed gave me a lot of problems. I always faced the problem of not being able to access to my server and cannot load my blog at least twice a month. I am sure those who are having their own domain will understand how frustrated I am due to it, especially if you have paid post that is going to due for submission.

I will usually email and even phone the technical support immediately if I find any problem with my server, hoping that they will be able to solve the server problem as soon as possible. However, they usually will get it fixed on the next day only. Why couldn't they solve the problem within one or two hours? Don't they know that server down could be a serious case that might cause their clients to loose business/money? If I am running an ecommerce business, website server down is just like the making money machine break down. Hehe.


Since then I learned my lesson well. I will do more survey on selecting a reliable and experience hosting company. Expensive hosting package does not mean it provides 100% time up and good customer services. It is because my first hosting package was much more expensive than my current hosting package which has fewer problems.
