Bad Memory

My memory is very bad now. I could easily forget to do something important. I would forget to return call after read a memo or I would just totally forget to buy something even thought I am there. What happen to my memory? Is this really the signs of getting elder? Is everybody the same or just me? Anyway to improve my memory? I am feeling that my brain could not working well now. :(
