Pity Her

I meet my friend last month to visit her lovely daughter who is two years old. She broke her thumb in an accident, it is so pity when I saw her little hand crap with thumb spica splint. I saw another pair of thumb spica splints at her home, I wonder why she needs so many thumb spica splints. Well, I am not daring to ask many questions as my friend look so worry about her daughter. I have no idea how to comfort her but only keep quiet.
