Family Treasurer
Yesterday, my friend & I chat about our family financial in MSN..Her husband kinda 'big man' wan & from kinda rich family oso lah...so he tot no need to save $$ for emergency or future use...anything happen ahh...his family will support wan wor...well...actually he is a nice guy...just no planning for such thing...
And my friend really upset with him...He even told her "u save urs $$, I save mine $$' wor (both oso working)...he willing to pay all house & baby's expenses but won give wife 'ka yong' 家用...huh?? y ler?? husband & wife need to be like tat meh? I was wondering lah...seem like no trust in between ler....
Maybe I'm 'big women' oso?? hehe...I kenot tahan man like tat lah...And due to my 'count died grass' character...I alwaysspy need to know how & where fatty & my $$$ gone wan...Maybe both of us have no support from family, so we have to depends on ourselves lor...
So I do keep emergency saving & future fund lor...(not insurance lah..difference thing ler)..hmmm...so far fatty have no complain about my plan lah...Altho sometimes I kinda stingy..hehe...give fatty RM10 daily for his expenses .....I will keep 70% of fatty's yearly bonus to our fund...beside monthy 'ka yong' ...not much mah....hor???????

wah! then I must be the biggest loser lah... I voluntary let wife handle finances... main thing is to get those headache stuff off my shoulders :P

I let my spouse handle the financial things.. less headache for me.. hahhaha!!

haha, u so lucky leh, still got "kah yung" from fatty ah! Me no loh, i earn every $ myself leh, hubby didn't give me "kah yung" wan but he pay for the housing loan, insurance and share the baby expenses etc lah!
I have to agree with you, I must have some saving just in case there is emergency or save for the rainy days!

So like your friend, he has his own $, I have my own.
That's why cannot be SAHM loh. :(
But I make sure he pays for everything in the house la. My mother, I say keep for Zara. :D
let twinsdad handle, less hassle for me, everything goes wrong blame him hahaha...
msau i think i am like u. I have access and know every in and out of my hubby's $$, the same goes for hubby, he knows everything about my money too. We always make joint decisions. But i never control his pocket money lah, just tell him not to carry too much cash, in case wallet terjatuh. Same with you, we hv to be prudent coz we got no "back-up" from anyone if we need any emergency funds.

I tot request kah yong from hubby is a must dim..:Pp...maybe I'm very traditional lor..man must feed wife until fat fat mah..haha..actually those kah yong I use for daily household & baby stuff wan lah..altho sometimes masuk pocket liao lah..haha

btw i think this kind of ppl do not belif in insuran oso.
but maybe you could ask the wife QUIETLY buy for him, in case....
