Interested In LCD TV

I asked my friend regarding his LCD TV when we visited him last weekend. I wish to know more about LCD TV now because hubby suggests buying a LCD TV for SQ & Kiki. SQ spending more time on the TV now, we worrying that watching too much of TV program might not good to her eyes, as I heard that the radiator affection (what words is that?) is very high on those old CRT TV.

I am thinking to change my PC monitor to LCD monitor as well, because SQ loves to play online games with my PC too. If possible, I want to get the fiber optic cables to maximum the bandwidth and complete immunity to electrical interference.
